Would you have liked to experience the modernist masterpiece E.1027 during our exclusive Movie Night?
Our event at Sphinx Cinema has now passed, but we’ll soon be announcing new architectural experiences.

During this special evening, we screened the docufiction Eileen Gray and House by the Sea, a captivating story about the female architect behind the modernist icon E.1027 on the French Riviera. Director Béatrice Minger reveals the true story of how Le Corbusier — a friend of Eileen Gray’s partner Jean Badovici — added murals without her permission, ultimately taking credit for aspects of the house’s design. The film restores Gray’s rightful place in architectural history, with beautiful archival footage and expertly recreated scenes.
