'Den Brandt', an estate covering some 48 hectares, was sold to the City of Antwerp by the noble Della Faille de Waerloos family in 1910. The area is characterised by the presence of the beautiful park Den Brandt, the green lung of the neighbourhood. The area exudes romance through its generous streets with fantastic architecture.

We gather at Bistro Pompidou where we start the walk led by Jo Braeken, Heritage Researcher at the Flanders Government's Agency for Immovable Heritage. We enjoy romantic cottage houses in Acacialaan. Beech Avenue, Della Faillelaan, Hagedoornlaan and Sorbenlaan also surprise us with a beautiful display of architecture.

Closing we did in tennis club Den Brandt where Immodôme let us enjoy another nice glass.

It was a particularly fascinating and romantic walk.
