Elsdonck is a residential area with residential allure that is peppered with architectural gems from different movements such as art nouveau, cottage style, eclecticism and art deco.

We will start at the old Elsdonck. Ken Van Nuffel, guide with the Kring voor Heemkunde Wilrica, will show us around. We admire Résidence Elsdonck, a design by Leon Stynen. By happy coincidence, one of the participants turns out to live in Résidence Elsdonck. So we were able to take a look inside the building. We strolled through the villa district and admired Renaat Braem's De Belder residence.

We then enjoyed typical architecture from the second half of the 20th century in beautiful streets such as Meerlen Avenue, Swan Avenue, Flamingo Avenue, etc. 

It was another great success.
