During this walk, we will discover the modernist history of Mariakerke, focusing on the collaboration between René Heyvaert, Olivier Nowé and Daniël Craet.
These architects wanted to create a kind of community with the progressive architecture that goes with it. Both the history and the evolution of this project will be highlighted. The walk will be led by Tourist Modernist, an encyclopaedia of modernist architecture in Belgium.
