This place marks a special chapter in my life — I lived here from my thirties to my fifties. From the very first coup de foudre when I bought it as a shell in 2005, I’ve loved this apartment deeply. Coming home to the calm and spaciousness after a day in the bustling city has always been a joy. The living room is so large that I could dance here with friends — I even taught my daughter how to ride a bike inside! Watching her grow up here has been a true privilege. Having worked in the wood industry for many years, I deliberately made wood the focal point of the kitchen. I handpicked the tree for the Santos Rosewood veneer and had it custom integrated into the design — a choice that still makes me happy every single day. Living in a small building with just four units has also been a big plus — it makes communication and decision-making easy, and the neighbors are genuinely great people. And then there's the location — I don't think you can live more centrally in Antwerp. The neighborhood is lively in the best way, and with Chinatown just around the corner, you’re never far from amazing food. I get around the city mostly on foot.
