The gigantic living kitchen with Aga cooker and generous fireplace is the eye-catcher. It is lovely to stay here, both in summer and in winter. The cosy lounge/TV room is very inviting in the evening, as is the practical and tasteful oak desk.

The country house has four covered terraces. You can always sit outside and, weather permitting, always in a sunny spot. At the back of the garden, English Herritage built a double carport with garden storage and an additional covered terrace of 32m2 to catch the last rays of the sun.

You also enjoy an annexe with living room, bdrm and bdk. Ideal for a growing teenager, grandparent, lodger or as office space.

The garden was tackled by architect Koen Aerts of Archi Verde. Giant old beeches form natural pillars in the garden. Incredible natural beauty.

The house has plenty of cosiness, comfort and privacy. It can also be ideally used as a B&B or a live/work combo.
