Description

Borgerhout extra-muros: lively and quiet at the same time. Your opposite neighbour? Te Boelaerpark: jogging, walking, picnicking, play paradise for minis.... and soon a play pond. Close to Berchem station, Zurenborg and approach roads. Culture in De Roma, apéro in Bar Brul or summer bar in the park, lunch at Café Josée, cappuccino at 't Koffiemieke? It's all possible!

Bell-floor flat with masses of character. Original Winckelman tiles, marble fireplace, wooden doors, beautiful parquet floors... Every detail exudes authenticity.

Living and dining rooms flow seamlessly into each other. One unit and a wide facade, so lots of light and space. The fireplace in the dining room provides that extra touch of warmth on chilly autumn evenings. At the back, you'll find a toilet and kitchen. This one is perfectly usable, but you might want to give it an update. Again, the same sublime Winckelman tiles as in the hallway.

From here you get access to the inviting city garden. Great for a cosy barbecue, sunny lunch or siesta in the deck chair. There's even room for a herb garden and chicken coop. Want more greenery? Then just head for the park across the road.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are very spacious and 1 with a dressing room. The 3rd bedroom serves perfectly as an office, children's or hobby room. The bathroom is spacious and has both shower and bath: convenient.

The garage, currently serving as a spacious workshop, is the icing on the cake. Super practical: bikes can be stored in the garage and parking is possible in front of the door.

A fantastic house in a fantastic neighbourhood: what more could you want? Moreover, the interior is a source of inspiration.

This neighbourhood is fantastic!
The owners,

owner speaks out

This neighbourhood is fantastic! The centre of Antwerp? I hardly ever go there anymore. It's far too nice here. Cafés, coffee bars, the fantastic park, events... Here you find everything on your doorstep. The house is also very rewarding, especially to do justice to my style of furniture. Refurbishing vintage furniture: that's my great passion and hobby. I can totally indulge in that! Fortunately, I have plenty of room in my workshop. Moreover, thanks to this studio, I am very lucky to be able to easily tidy up all my projects and working materials. This keeps the inside of the house tidy at all times - bliss.
