What if... two interior designers buy a dark fifties house? Then you get a complete, refreshing renovation and a beautiful, sun-drenched property in return. That's exactly what Ellen and Arno of AE STUDIO did.

The designer duo mixes vintage with trouvailles and it shows everywhere: spiral staircase from a bakery, kitchen cupboard from a French sweet shop and, as a kitchen unit, an old counter was given a second life. Authentic elements have also been retained: wooden window profiles, curtains in the living area, Bakelite switches, beautiful parquet floor and... the original pink bath.

Corridor and stairs lead to the hall on the 1st floor. Here the owner's unique mural catches the eye. On one side cloakroom, guest toilet, 1 bedroom and 1 bdk with shower and artisanal Winckelman tiles. On the other, the large living space with open kitchen and marble worktop. Plenty of sun and a large sliding window to the partly covered terrace with white pebbles, large plants... You feel as if you are in your own private little Ibiza.

The spiral staircase takes you to the sunny 2nd floor with open dressing room. Followed by 2 bedrooms with bdk and the famous pink bath. Solar panels on the roof.

On the ground floor, access to the garage with adjacent laundry room. The garage is big enough for a car, but also for bikes, tools, etc.
