Lots of sunlight, high windows and ceilings, authentic 1930s herringbone parquet and doors with glass windows... This house has everything we ever dreamed of. During the renovation, we restored the old elements, such as floors and ceilings, while upgrading the house in terms of comfort. Thanks to the loft, this is a very pleasant house to live and work in together. Another fun fact: above the kitchen, everything is in place to connect a sauna. In turn, we designed the 2nd floor to be as multifunctional as possible.
The neighbourhood is also very nice, as are the neighbours. Living here within walking distance of both Berchem station and Te Boelaer Park has nothing but advantages. We have seen the neighbourhood grow into the young, vibrant part of Antwerp it is today, thanks to cafés like Bar Brul and Café Josée. Truly a prime neighbourhood where you'll find the ideal mix of city life and greenery.
