Long before we moved in, we fell in love with the Van Steenbergen house. It was our absolute dream house.

The renovation preceded long and animated conversations. We wanted to preserve authenticity, but at the same time live in a house of today.

In all renovations, we tried to start from the spirit of Van Steenbergen. That was no easy task. A house built according to such a guiding overall concept also imposes rules on its occupants.

It is an extraordinary house to live in. It is a modern home with a warm soul. The rooms are beautiful, with large windows and high ceilings making it always light.

What also makes us happy is the Pulhof neighbourhood. The city is nearby, the parks, the motorway to Brussels, the Thalys to Paris, Deurne airport. Shops are within walking distance. A fine bakery, a good butcher, a fine fish shop and a top vegetable shop.

We have put our heart and soul into this house. We are looking for people who want to take care of this beautiful house with love. And want to live there with gusto."
