We really enjoyed living here. The location is perfect for us. Close to Park Spoor Noord where it is lovely in the summer with the fountains, the city park, Eilandje and the centre of Antwerp. For work we regularly have to go to Paris or Brussels and the station is within walking distance, a great luxury. This was also a nice neighbourhood for our kids. We often visited the Zoo or read books in the Permeke library around the corner. For delicious coffees you have to go to Viggo's, lunch is at Cornichon or Lina's Bakery and meeting up with friends is at the Kiebooms. That many different cultures come together here is also reflected in the culinary offerings: the Chinese supermarket Sunwah, delicious curries at Snow Wok, baclav's at Elif or the best kebab at Nur.
In the little square in front of our front door, we also enjoyed many hours: chatting on a bench with the neighbours, the kids having fun with chalk on the pavement, scooting, cycling,... in this cul-de-sac, it's all safely possible.
It's a warm neighbourhood with nice people where everyone still has a nice chat with you. We hope the new owners will like it here as much as we do.
