Description

From vibrant Borgerhout, both Rivierenhof Park and Operaplein are just a ten-minute walk away. The Stuivenberg site — with ambitions to become the new Groen Kwartier — as well as bakeries, breakfast spots, and the cozy cafés around Moorkensplein and Krugerplein are all nearby. You also have immediate access to tram, bike, or walking routes դեպի the city center, or can easily leave the city by car.

The stylish entrance hall — think high ceilings and authentic cement tiles — immediately sets the tone for the rest of this characterful home.

At the front, a spacious living room again features high ceilings, warm parquet flooring, and an elegant marble fireplace. At the rear, you’ll find a generous dining area, alongside the kitchen, finished with charming tiles on both floors and walls — the perfect setting to host guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pleasant city garden offers peace and privacy, while the tiled terrace instantly evokes warm, southern vibes with a subtle bohemian touch.

On the mezzanine level, you’ll find the impressive bathroom. Immerse yourself in a soothing hammam-like atmosphere, created by the authentic washbasins, a generous walk-in shower, and a bathtub, both finished in refined mosaic tiles. This is truly bathing in style and luxury.

The first floor features the stylish master bedroom at the front, again with high ceilings and a cozy balcony, and a second bedroom at the rear. The second floor offers two more full-sized bedrooms, each with beautiful wooden plank flooring, one of which includes a charming mezzanine.

Warm charm and authenticity — this soulful home offers the perfect blend of character and comfort.

This house grew into a place of open doors, where family and friends were always welcome and would drop by spontaneously.
The owners,

owner speaks out

When we bought this house in 2006, it was divided into two separate living units and cluttered with extensions, false walls, and lowered ceilings. Such a shame, because all those additions hid the beautiful original character that makes this house so special! Still, we saw its potential. Once everything was removed, the true soul of the house gradually reappeared – a joy to witness. In the years that followed, we fully made the house our own and turned it into a warm home, leaving our personal touch in every room. It evolved into a place of constant gathering, where family and friends were always welcome and would drop by spontaneously. This house has seen countless moments of laughter, sharing, and celebration. Thanks to its central location, in a neighborhood rich with cultural events, it also became a beloved meeting spot — a great hangout before or after concerts, performances, and other activities. It is clear that we lived in this wonderful home with great love. We are therefore saying goodbye to this special place with a touch of nostalgia.
