Description

Attractive 2 bdrm app from the interwar period in highly coveted location.

Almost everything here exudes the elegant atmosphere of the interwar period: the stairwell of this small-scale apartment building 'Residence Pullman', floor tiles of the small balcony, original wooden floors, interior doors, oceanic glass windows between corridor and rooms,...

The sun shines brightly in the beautiful parquet-floored living space in the morning. From here you access the terrace: a nice place for a relaxed breakfast with coffee and newspaper. The bedroom at the back is a real master bedroom with handy built-in cupboards and a reading corner. Here the evening sun shines on the extra balcony with spacious views, including of the Heracles tennis club fields. There is also a second bdrm with original plank flooring.

The apartment is on the third floor, reached by stairs (no lift). The bright bathroom with bath has practical connections for a washing machine and dryer. Like the kitchen, the bathroom dates from the eighties. Both serve perfectly. Those who want can upgrade them to a more modern version: the chance to leave your mark on this already cosy app.

Trams and buses at 1' steps, direct access to motorways, great range of local shops, supermarkets, schools, sports clubs, restaurants and the best speciality shops. At the same time only about 5' cycling to Middelheim Park or Fort 5 in Edegem.

owner speaks out

Close to everything and yet very quiet: I love living here. In the morning, I am right on the motorway and every evening I enjoy the very best relaxation therapy: reading a book with a view of the setting sun. The biggest assets of this elegant app? The authentic art-deco elements, the prime location and the sunlight that enters on both sides.

On weekends, I quietly shop at the best specialist shops nearby, such as cheese master Van Tricht, bakery Le Bleu, meat from Bij Buurman, fish from Steloy... Now, for me, the time has come to discover another city: Bruges.
