About 20 years ago, we bought this beautiful property, at that time still shell. Our ultimate goal? To create space and light for living surrounded by our art collection. Together with a team of fantastic interior designers, we completely transformed the typical, stereotypical floor plan and tailored it to our needs.

The open living kitchen took centre stage in our flat. We opted for a large central block, which flows seamlessly into the sideboard and forms the boundary between the day and night area. At every step of the process, we resolutely opted for high-quality materials and sober, timeless colours.

Since we moved in, not a moment has passed without us enjoying the sunlight pouring in through the large windows overlooking our gem of a terrace. In fine weather, the spacious living room flows into a remarkable outdoor space. The view of the ever magnificent St Rombouts tower, Fish Market, Dijle and boats make this home even more amazing than it already was.

City and shops at hand, plenty of walking and cycling possibilities and being able to read a book in peace and quiet on the phenomenal terrace, with a view of the towers - these are the best assets for us.

I can hear you thinking... So why are we leaving such a place where it is all about conviviality? We have decided to live by the sea. With pain in our hearts, but also full of enthusiasm, we are passing on this pearl to new people. We are sure that they will have many happy years here, just like us!
