Mansion in rococo style from 1753, designed by arch. Engelbert Baets, probably commissioned by Joseph Vequemans, baron de la Verre en Ranst. In past centuries, it was used as a house, hotel, museum, commercial building, bank and Spanish cultural centre. In 1999 it underwent extensive renovation, with great respect for its authentic grandeur and elements, so that you now enjoy all modern luxuries and comforts in style. The building currently houses 7 magnificent units on a usable floor area of approximately 1,500m2.

Already in the entrance hall you feel you are stepping into an impressive chunk of Antwerp history. Daylight pours in abundantly through the glass rear façade, overlooking the sublime courtyard. The office spaces can be found on the glvl, the 1st and basement and attic floors. This gives each of the 7 units its individuality. From each office you overlook the delightful garden with Tuscan colonnade. In the garden, you see the oeil-de-boeuf with beautiful clockwork in the dormer window.

Inside the building, too, you will find one authentic element after another: high ceilings and doors, beautiful mouldings, mantelpieces, etc. The interior dates from the Rococo, Louis XVI and second Empire periods. One of the showpieces is the top notch multipurpose recreation room.
