Since the street was redesigned, Lange Koepoortstraat is undoubtedly one of the trendiest streets in the city. It is now a pleasant shopping street with many lovely terraces. After a thorough and radical renovation by Conix Architects (led by Christine Conix) in 2006 and 2007, the building was officially completed in 2009.
