In this small and picturesque village you will find this old abattoir. Look out of the window from the sitting area and you can see the old Willebroek canal flowing. Walk to the back and you look out over the Broek De Naeyer nature reserve.

The spacious ground floor of this house flows naturally from sitting area to dining room and from living kitchen to terrace and garden. Plenty of room for communal activities as well as retreating to a cosy corner. The beautiful light provides plenty of atmosphere every time.

On the first floor, the master bedroom has a private terrace overlooking the nature reserve. This is a great place to wake up with a coffee. For us, it felt more like a holiday than living here all these years. Here you are close to both Brussels and Antwerp and yet it is wonderfully quiet. Along the water you can walk in a few minutes to the historic Sashuis and the Rupel where it's lovely to get a breath of fresh air. It was great to see our children grow up here. Now it is time to leave this cosy nest by the water and lovingly pass this beautiful place on to new owners.
