Penthouse loft in former warehouse

Located on Viaduct Dam, next to the studios of Fashion Club 70, near Park Spoor Noord, and with quick access to the city and the northern edge of Antwerp.

The penthouse was designed by B-architects with a shrewd layout and practical and aesthetic ideas.

The property is characterised by plenty of light, space and fine choice of materials. The concrete ceiling betrays the loft's past as a depot space. Treated birch veneer is used throughout the finishes. The ceiling-high doors were custom-made. Many are sliding doors. The heating in the living room is concealed behind a sixties wooden grid at the connection from the lounge to the terrace.

The concrete countertop in the kkn continues along one side into a desk, along the other side as a planter on the terrace. The bdk's with Vola taps, mosaic tiles and handsome sanitary ware offer a wonderfully luxurious feel.

The lift gives immediate access to the penthouse. Layout: L-shaped living space with open kkn, dining area, lounge and TV corner. Master area with dressing room and large bdk on one side of the loft, four other bedrooms with additional bdk on the other side. Laundry room, storage room for provisions and extra space for other storage items.

The flagstone terrace offers plenty of privacy. The metropolitan view over the city reaches huge thanks to the penthouse's height. On the ground floor, you will enjoy a separate garage box (included in the price).

The loft offers aesthetics, functionality and space in an incredibly unique setting!

As a newly composed family, we value space, privacy and cosiness. Everyone should have their own space, but in addition, a large living space to be together is also important.

Moreover, my husband and I love aesthetics. We love 60s/70s villas. We wanted a kind of "Californian Case Study House" at height. B-architects understood this very well.

They provided a logical and pleasing floor plan. The aesthetics creep into the finishes. We worked with birch veneer for the cabinets, concrete in the kitchen, wooden joinery on the radiators, flagstones on the terrace and tailor-made doors.

The penthouse was included in the book "Living in Antwerp". We are quite proud of that!
