We were looking for a loft with architectural character, so when we heard about 'The Chocolate Factory', we immediately planned a visit. What a unique opportunity, living in a piece of 20th century industrial heritage.... You can guess the outcome: we instantly fell in love with this place. The surrounding nature, the high ceilings, not the traditional picture and the breathtaking views - you really never get tired of them. Because the loft has three facades, natural daylight enters almost everywhere. The generous surface area also results in a wonderful, spacious feeling - industrial, yet not too brutal, with a great eye for detail.

When we step into the loft from the lift, it is as if we set foot on our own private island above. When we bought the building hull, we insisted on keeping the loft feel and open character. We resolutely went for the minimalist look in a relaxed atmosphere, contemporary sleek yet cosy and warm. The site itself is also super cosy - Limburg at its best! You can help out in the vegetable garden, play a game of petanque or have a quiet chat with the neighbours with a good glass in your hand... Everything is à l'aise: nothing is compulsory here, but it is possible.
