Description

This calm, dead-end street is surprisingly peaceful and quiet. Yet you have a playground and sports hall behind the corner and you are close to all access roads, public transport and the unspoilt nature of the Gentbrugse Meersen. Or how about a bike ride along the beautiful, vast Scheldt dykes or - handy! - cycling to the centre of Ghent?

This single-storey bungalow was built in the 1970s on a pleasant plot, oriented to the south-east: that means plenty of sunshine and natural daylight. Today, the house is in good condition, although it could use a renovation, which still leaves a lot of room to put your own style and stamp on this cool family home.

Hallway with guest toilet. L-shaped, bright living space with plenty of room for a lounge and dining room and large glass windows offering a nice view of the greenery. Nice garden with covered terrace, for cosy outdoor dining, and a second sun terrace in the front garden. Next to the living space you will find the kitchen with space for a breakfast nook and a large, handy storage room. The office space is a nice place for quiet secluded work - or will you turn it into a playroom or extra bedroom?

Furthermore, the house has three bedrooms. Finally, there is the bathroom with double sink, walk-in shower and toilet, a large attic space and an external garage to store all your bicycles, garden equipment and hobby materials.

Who will give this 70s bungalow an upgrade to the 21st century?

The owners,

owner speaks out

'What an incredible time we had here as children! Growing up and playing outside in a nice, dead-end street, near Ghent, the Gentbrugse meersen and the Scheldt dykes ... A wonderful play paradise for young and old. This really is an incredibly nice, quiet location that you will love coming home to. The fact that all the rooms are on the ground floor creates a nice atmosphere and you get beautiful light everywhere. Now that our mum is going to a retirement home, we are saying goodbye to the great times in this house, even if it is a bit with a double feeling ... This place will be missed!'
