Description

On a side street off Mechelsesteenweg. Parks, coffee bars and lunch spots are around the corner. In the city centre, close to everything, yet very quiet. The approach roads are easily accessible.

The penthouse is in a 1930s house. Popping colours beautifully highlight the authentic elements. You enter via the separate entrance hall. The original parquet floor continues into the living area. The dining room and living room flow organically into one another.

The colourful furnishings create a blissfully cosy and unique whole. Although the penthouse also looks great without an eclectic interior. Original parquet floors, wooden doors, arched structures that visually divide the rooms... This place is made to feel like a warm home.

Daylight pours in through the front windows and the dining room has room enough for a long dining table. Ideal for dinners with friends and family. The kitchen was updated 5 years ago with quality and cool features like a Smeg cooker and colourful cooker hood. Tasteful combo of sturdy dark cupboards and a white marble top. Adjacent is a cosy terrace with open views. Lovely in the evening sun.

A long corridor takes you to the sleeping area. Separate toilet and charming bathroom with authentic sink, bath and shower. Extra fun: the catchy cobalt blue on the walls.

Spacious bedroom on original parquet floor. The spacious and bright master bedroom is located at the very back, ideal for undisturbed nights.

owner speaks out

From the first spring sun, we sit as often as we can on our favourite spot: the little terrace next to the kitchen. Here it is lovely out of the wind to enjoy an open view with beautiful sunsets. Perfect for apero and cosy tête-à-tête. We really enjoy cooking and our new kitchen is perfect for that. Nothing like preparing your dinner in the warm glow of the setting sun. A big plus of the apartment is definitely the spacious living area. This is where we spent many blissful evenings with friends and family. We also always liked the fact that the sleeping and living areas are far apart. This way you still have the necessary peace and privacy when people come over. The location is also super. You can get to the centre of Antwerp just as quickly as to Berchem and the Groen Kwartier. Several parks are within walking distance.
