Description

In cosy Oud-Berchem, with its beautiful homes and convenient location. All approach roads are nearby, as are shops, schools, De Singel, swimming pool Wezenberg... You can get to the city in no time by bike, and parks are within walking distance. The ideal base for every family.

The wide façade of this stately home, designed by Richard Vaes in 1901, immediately reveals what kind of beauty you can expect inside. Authentic elements, high ceilings, moulures, original floors and doors. Atmosphere rules!

The entrance hall on beautiful mosaic leads to a spacious, cosy living room. At the back is the living kitchen with dining area opening onto the green city garden. There is also a useful utility room with storage space, guest toilet and access to the spacious cellar.

On the mezzanine floor is the 1st bedroom with bathroom. The master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom 2 can be found on the 1st floor. A nice extra is the cosy terrace. On the street side is the 'winter room'. Today a music room, but also perfect as an office.

On the 2nd mezzanine is also a bedroom, connected to the top floor by a nice little staircase. Under the roof are another 2 bedrooms with bathroom, plus an extra room that can serve as an office, dressing room or playroom. Blessed icing on the cake is the roof terrace.

The property was renovated in 2011 and well maintained, solar panels, EPC B and compliant electricity.

Possibility to purchase double garage box with workshop over the door @140,000€. Megaluxe in this neighbourhood!

owner speaks out

It was always lovely to have so much space with our 3 kids. Everyone had their own place and yet we were cosy together. The house has a lot of special touches, especially thanks to the terraces on the floors and the green garden. And then, of course, there's the blissful neighbourhood, which we will probably miss the most.
