A whole list of criteria we had, only to feel what this loft is really about when stepping inside: a coup de foudre! Subsequent 'waaaaw's' from our guests also reminded us again and again of that magical first moment when we walked in here.
Kitchen island, office corner, sun terrace, aperitif lounge or game corner - we each have our own nooks and crannies in the space. Living apart yet together. In an old window opening at the very top of the loft, about four metres high, we installed a super cute sitting area. There you can read a book with a cup of tea, while looking out over the whole house... Just wonderful!
Inside the building, too, you live together yet separately. You can participate in communal BBQs to your heart's content, while the loft, thanks to its separate entrance, feels just as good as a separate house in the street. Around the corner, you can go jogging on the Dijlepad, pop into the (night) shop, walk to the city centre or take the train to Antwerp and Brussels. The perfect combo, we think! In fact, we love this neighbourhood so much that we continue to live nearby as well.'
