The house testifies to architect Meulepas' preference for early modernism. The horizontal character is achieved thanks to the wide sill in blue stone, the concrete terraces with unpretentious wrought ironwork and the sober brown/red brick. The front door made of metal and finished with glazed and gilded tiles gives a slightly Art Deco touch to the house.
Inside, a beautiful tropical wood was used for the doors, staircase and fitted cupboards. An authentic frut floor in the hallway makes the house trendy and current. In the office, a fishbone parquet was chosen. The living space was clad in strip parquet. The house still has the original door handles and window fittings.
