This 1968 house was built in concrete with large windows and Oregon pine, an exceptional design by Ghent pride Juliaan Lampens, who describes his architecture as "ordinary, but in an extraordinary way".

Note the original dark wood alcove with a sitting or reclining bench and bookcase, and the curved concrete wall, alluding the architect to one of his great inspirations, Le Corbusier.

Wood-burning stove, authentic cupboards and plenty of lighting. In 2020, the kitchen was renovated in collaboration with Fragmenture with colours and materials that perfectly reflect Lampens' work: stained pine combined with a warm red concrete worktop.

On the plus side: the bathroom, 2 bedrooms with renovated floors and custom-made woodwork, and another multifunctional open space, to be divided up as you see fit. It is clear that every detail of this house has been preserved and pampered with the utmost care.
