On 26 January, we officially opened the doors of the sixth, brand-new Immodôme branch in Lier.

The magnificent building exudes plenty of Art Nouveau charm, while the catchy interior is bursting with colourful, playful touches and beautiful design pieces. The handsome works of art by multidisciplinary artist Tom Andries are also eye-catchers.

The new office occupies a beautiful building with an Art Nouveau touch. It was designed in 1906 by the architect Bernard De Meyer from Lierse and can be found on the corner of Berlaarsestraat and Kluizeplein. Already on the outside, you can see many typical Art Nouveau elements: a soft yellow brick façade on a bluestone plinth, wall bands of green and white stone, crowning pointed arch fields above the windows filled with colourful tile artwork, dark green woodwork, two owls in stone on the slate roof...

Inside, then, you are surprised by the contrast with the outside and are immersed in an eclectic interior full of colourful, playful touches, cool tubular radiators, stylish design elements... In short, a modern, innovative feat of interior design, designed in collaboration with interior agency Julie2.

The opening night was more than successful with a special thanks to the mayor of Lier, Rik Verwaest, with his enthusiastic presence.

Lier is a very charming city and has so much to offer its residents. The Immodôme team will certainly help endorse Lier's rich history and wonderful architecture.
