Zurenborg is synonymous with lord and master houses and is awash with beautiful streets full of architecture. The wealthier the people, the more lavish the architecture. The result: a mix of listed houses in neo-Gothicism, neo-classicism and especially art nouveau.

We meet at the Dageraadplaats, one of Antwerp's cosiest squares. Inviting for a delicious cup of coffee in the afternoon and illuminated by a beautiful starry sky in the evening.

During the walk, under the professional guidance of Alex Elaut, we will get to know "creations" by, among others, the architect duo D.Rosseels and K. Coninck-Westenberg, J. Bascourt and J. De Weerdt.

As icing on the cake, we visit the famous Cogels-Osylei where he draws our attention to exceptional architecture. The Rose by J. Hofman, House Quinten Matsys, civic house De Tulp, civic house De Zonnebloem....

To finish, Immodôme offered another drink at the Dageraadplaats.

We are also sponsoring the book on Jules Hofman created by Alex Elaut. Feel free to contact us to obtain a copy at info@immodome.be.
