Description

Living around Te Boelaerpark is wonderfully pleasant, with shops, cafés, restaurants, schools, the swimming pond at Boekenbergpark and public transport all nearby. Berchem Station and the city centre are always within easy reach by tram or bike, as are the main access roads. Green surroundings without missing out on city life – the perfect combination!

In this neighbourhood, a fully renovated home with a favourable EPC label B? You simply have to see it with your own eyes. Step inside through the charming entrance hall and corridor with marble-look flooring and high ceilings. Cosy living room and spacious dining area with parquet flooring, followed by a superbly equipped open kitchen offering extensive workspace, ample storage and built-in cabinets. Just imagine the parties, children playing and lazy Sundays filled with spontaneous BBQs or aperitifs in the inviting garden…

The beautiful, authentic wooden staircase leads you to the first floor: a master bedroom with en-suite dressing and adjoining lovely terrace, an XL children’s bedroom at the front, a large bathroom (double washbasin, toilet, bath, shower) and a spacious storage room that could serve as an extra dressing or hobby room. Original doors and plank floors have been preserved throughout.

The second floor has a similar layout and again offers numerous possibilities: currently a large children’s bedroom, two studio spaces and another generous storage room, presently used as an ironing room. There is even a kitchenette and a second bathroom (shower, toilet). Those in need of even more storage will appreciate the large cellar. An additional bonus: the rented shared bicycle garage across the street can optionally be taken over.

Living close to the city in a quiet neighbourhood, where children ride their bikes in the street and go play in the park.
The owners,

owner speaks out

It gives us so much peace of mind to live close to the city, yet in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood where our children can ride their bikes in the street and play in the park. Whether you need to go to the bakery, butcher, shops or pharmacy, everything is within walking distance! Tram and train connections are nearby as well, just like the wonderful Te Boelaerpark and Boekenbergpark, with its swimming pond. In recent years, the area has also become very lively, with plenty of trendy coffee bars (Oktober), great restaurants (Fredo, De Buren…) and cosy cafés (Bar Brul, Foxy, Vrij België…). At the same time, it remains a warm, welcoming and social neighbourhood, with many street parties and flea markets. And as the children grow older, they can easily and independently get to schools, hobbies and sports clubs, as these are never far away either.
