Description

Boomgaardstraat runs from Hoogstraat to Sint-Maartenplein. An orchard was mentioned here in 1305, today this street is an inseparable part of the historic city center of Bruges. This beautiful, historic building from 1861 is both a protected monument and established architectural heritage, built by order of the De Vestel De Lille family. Architect Alleweireldt was commissioned to build one house, which was named "Cipres," among other things. Only later was the property divided into two residences (numbers 13 and 15) and transformed into a majestic hotel, designed by architect Ghyssaert - which is exactly what makes this place so unique, as the city of Bruges no longer grants new permits for hotel exploitation. An extraordinary heritage opportunity in more ways than one! 

Superlatives fail to describe the grandeur of this hotel. Grandiose reception room followed by two richly decorated salons with marble fireplaces, parquet floors and sumptuous moulures. The magnificent entrance hall provides a stunning entrance and through the impressive carriage passage you walk through to the coach house with attractive city garden in the back, which also houses hotel rooms. The other hotel rooms are in the main building.
