We are selling this fantastic house because a foreign adventure beckons - but how we have loved living here! When we first saw the house, we instantly fell in love with the beautiful garden. A real oasis of calm where you can completely relax in total silence - except for the singing birds. Quietly reading a book, BBQing with friends.... Even a football match or a game of badminton is no problem. Thanks to the size of the garden, you can find a sunny or shady spot all day long. The imposing old beech tree also immediately creates a great park garden feeling. This green spot is all the more impressive because we are only a stone's throw away from the centre of Antwerp. Literally everything is within walking distance here: a supermarket open 7/7, but also a bakery, butcher and fish shop. You no longer need a car if you live here and for your shopping you don't even need a bike.
What proved to be an incredible bonus for us is the warm neighbourhood with play streets in both Jozef De Bomstraat and Fourmentstraat. Every summer we sit down for a cosy street barbecue with the neighbours. The long table then takes up the whole street - lovely! This neighbourhood really is still one of those villages in the city where everyone knows each other and the children come to call on each other to play.
