Description

With the Boekenberg Park and its natural swimming pond as your neighbour, in a quiet one-way street with beautiful views of the park - a dream location for city slickers who still want to live in green surroundings

In the entrance hall, you step into an entrance hall with a beautiful tropical wood wall, which continues over the entire ground floor - so you are immediately immersed in the characteristic sixties style, designed by Raymond Goovaerts, a student of Léon Stynen. Driveway and indoor garage, a great luxury in the city. Also on this ground floor is a practical laundry room with access to the cool garden. The garage is long, so you could convert part of it into office space or an extra lounge with a view of the garden.

A nice spiral staircase takes you to the 1st floor. In the open-plan living space, the great views of the park play the starring role - light & airy is an understatement here. Beautiful parquet floor in Babo-eik, recessed fireplace and another super nice wooden wall. The sitting and dining areas are united by an imposing metal artwork on the wall. From the modern open-plan kitchen, equipped with all appliances, you can access the lovely terrace with garden view. Enjoying a coffee, lunch or good book in peace and quiet? Bliss.

On the 2nd floor: the king-size master bedroom with relaxing views over the park and 2 spacious children's bedrooms. In the large bathroom you will find both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, another separate toilet in the hall.

owner speaks out

I was born and raised in this neighbourhood and after living elsewhere for 20 years, I was drawn back here. So this is really an ideal place to combine working and living: you have a great connection to the city, and at the same time you are close to shops, schools, cool cafés and the park for your daily dose of green. Moreover, it is a very nice street with lots of young people, where the neighbours get along well - every year we organise a summer barbecue and a New Year's drink. Actually, you have the cosy atmosphere of a village here, while still living close to the city. Lovely living here!
