'That this is a thoughtful architectural home can be felt in every detail. For example, the street faces north, shielded from the house by a large row of mature trees. In turn, the bedrooms and terraces were deliberately oriented to the east. That means wonderful waking up and having breakfast with the morning sun on your face. The garden focuses entirely on the south, a choice we have already enjoyed immensely. It was lovely to have our three children growing up here!'
