Description

In this residential neighbourhood near the town centre, you live close to everything — with the city park quite literally just around the corner. The train station, the main square, amenities and access roads: you can reach everything you need in a heartbeat.

The original construction year of this stately centenarian? It takes you all the way back to 1894, more than 130 years ago. In 2024, this 19th-century townhouse received the thorough renovation and energy upgrade it deserved, with great attention to detail and a deep respect for its character, fully in keeping with the spirit of the original home.

The classy dark-blue façade already gives it away: behind it lies a stylish house. Inside, be sure to notice the beautifully preserved protected features, the authentic ceiling roses, the high ceilings that create an impressive sense of space, and the overall tasteful interior design.

The ground floor features a polished concrete floor, underfloor heating and, to the front right, a room that can serve as a consultation space, office, playroom or chill zone. Then comes the sitting area, and at the back the open-plan living kitchen with large window sections that draw in plenty of natural light. The beautifully landscaped, deep city garden includes two terrace areas and a garage box at the rear of the plot — a dream setting for children at play, unforgettable garden parties, or summer evenings that seem to last forever…

Across the +1, +2 and +3 floors, you’ll find a total of five lovely bedrooms, a fully equipped bathroom with designer bathtub and shower, and an additional ensuite shower room with shower, sink and toilet, combined with the master bedroom — an interesting layout that still leaves plenty of room for your own interpretation according to your wishes and needs.

owner speaks out

There are so many things about this house that we fell in love with! The beautiful cast floor—with wonderful underfloor heating—the fantastic and abundant light in the kitchen, the trees in the garden, the original rosettes, which instantly make you feel like a time traveler... In the bathroom, we automatically get a feeling of wellness, thanks to the large bathtub, the rain shower, and the atmospheric, indirect lighting. We are also very happy with the cathedral glass door that we had installed. A real eye-catcher! Our guests would probably answer: the attic room with en suite bathroom. They always say they are very grateful for that. The location is also great, with the city park in the immediate vicinity – a big bonus.
